Science Service for Biodiversity

Coming soon: the EU Science Service for Biodiversity- connecting science, policy and society to make better informed decisions for nature.

The Science Service for Biodiversity is under construction. It will be the scientific pillar of the Knowledge Centre for Biodiversity. When fully launched, we will connect researchers, experts, practitioners and citizen science professionals with EU institutions through structured knowledge co-creation mechanisms.

To create lasting change, biodiversity must be embedded in public policy and business decisions at every level. Our mission is to make that integration possible through collaboration, evidence and shared knowledge.

The Science Service for Biodiversity is in development and the full platform is launching in 2026. It is being developed by BioAgora: a 5-year project funded by the Horizon Europe programme, involving 22 partners at the cutting edge of science, policy and technology.
